LEFTIE HAS ITCHY WHEELS

Sorry it;s been so long since my last blog but to be honest when I'm back in England there doesn't seen much point as I don't think I have much to say that would keep you house bound let alone spell bound. Letie and I should have been off on our next adventure a month ago but he;s not been well and as motor homes don't qualify for National Health Care I've had to fork out £1600 in the last six weeks. I didn't object to most of the expense, MOT, big service, new exhaust.the thing that really hurt was a trip to Northern Commercials to have a problem with the turbo checked out. they are a Fiat main dealer and so have specialist equipment to diagnose what and where a problem is. I left it with them and hey presto the discovered the problem was an electrical connection. A loose wire to you and me. Next day he was ready to go. so I went to pick him up. I was presented with a bill for £381 which was for re cramping a wire!!!!!!! They charge £80 an hour for labor plus £80 for the use of the diagnostic computer Thats more that's I paid for weeks all inclusive holiday in Sharm el Sheik. More the a brain surgeon earns to let some spotty  youth with a screw driver  loose on Leftie. I have had to put  all my anger, angst, and stress into an empty wine bottle screw the top back on and throw it overboard on the ferry crossing. That would be he ferry crossing I made this morning on my next adventure in Leftie. We are going much further and for much longer than our last adventure. our goal is a place called Torrox on the Costa del sol in Spain to enjoy the winter sunshine. we are meandering down with a stop off at cousin Penny and Ken's in Brittany for a week. Eventually arriving in Torrox at the end of November and hopefully staying there until m
March. We sailed from Dover to Calais at 8.45 this morning. As I woke up at the crack of dawn ( at least I  think that was her name ) Boom Boom .I took a couple of photos :-

Well that's it for  today as its been a very long one. Should arrive in Leffo sometime tomorrow afternoon, so watch this space for another exiting episode of what Bob and Leftie did next.
