FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD

Well true to their word I've been picked up by Mike & Ros. Would we be going to Nerja ? To a restaurant? To another pub? All I knew was I wasn't coming back that night. In the event it was none of the above. Mike & Ros also have house up in the mountains. So that's where we were going. It took about 45 min drive firstly on a motorway the on dual carriageway then on a normal rd then on a side rd then on a track.but I think you will agree the views are spectacular:-

The house consists of eight rooms of various shapes & sizes along wth tree  verandas. My favourite is the one with the pool. It's not warm enough at this time of the year but when May arrives Ros's favourite thing is to float on an air bed in the pool at night gazing up at the stars in an almost light pollution free environment.  WOW. after an excellent meal cooked byMike we spent the evening talking about life in Spain and life in general. Next morning they took me to the nearest town called Periana unfortunately I forgot to tack a camera ( stupid boy ) only about three miles away but 40 mins away in the car after that we went down to the coast for tapas in a small bar. Two fizzy waters one non alcoholic beer & 6 tapas to share all for. €8.50 that's about £6.50 . Then it was back to lLeftie for a quiet night in.
